Triplets and tuplets
Turn consecutive figures into a triplet, a quintuplet and more.
Step by step
- Select 2 to 9 consecutive figures of the same value, for example three eighth notes.
- A menu appears over the selection with the group that matches how many there are: triplet, duplet, quadruplet, quintuplet, sextuplet, septuplet, octuplet or nonuplet.
- Pick the group: the figures shrink to fit the same time and the number shows above them.
- To undo it, select the group and choose Remove triplet (or whichever applies) from the same menu.
