Duplicate, copy and paste

Repeat a motif in a couple of keystrokes.

Step by step

  1. Select one or more figures and press Shift + D: they are copied right after the last selected one, carrying on into the measures that follow.
  2. To bring them somewhere else, copy with Ctrl/Cmd + C, click the destination measure and paste with Ctrl/Cmd + V. It works between open scores too.

Tip: Hold Shift while pasting to paste only the figures, without clef, key or meter changes.
