Ties and beams
Join two notes with a tie or group eighth notes with a beam.
Step by step
- Select two consecutive notes with Shift+click. In the menu over them choose Tie: if they sound the same a tie is drawn, otherwise a slur.
- To remove it, select the same notes and choose Remove tie.
- Beams work the same way: select consecutive figures and choose Beam to join them or Unbeam to split the beam. If you do nothing, the editor groups them by the meter.
